Dear Zenit Family,
Two
weeks ago we let you know of ZENIT’s presence in Lisbon’s World Youth
Day (WYD) in early August. This announcement was accompanied by our
request for financial support to cover the expenses. Being an
independent Agency, we do not receive money from governments or
organizations. This enables us to guaranty the independence and
neutrality of our publications. However, it obliges us to ask for help,
and that’s not always easy or achievable.
Up
to now we are able to cover slightly over 50% of the expenses implied
in our journalistic participation in Lisbon’s World Youth Day, but we
still have a way to go. We are not discouraged. In Matthew 7:7
Jesus says to us: “Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you
will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” And we do this because
we believe Jesus, in that Jesus to whom we offer our daily work and for
whom we work every day through journalism.
And do you know what is loveliest about asking? That it makes us trust in Providence,
that Providence which is Jesus’ voice and which becomes the interior
motivation for our readers to come to our aid. Thank you to all those
who have already helped us and to those who, hearing this interior
motion, are encouraged to support us!
Will you help us to experience God’s Providence? We will translate it into work. You can aid us online at these links:

If you would rather be attended by someone directly, write to Pilar Bacha at (donations@zenit.org), and she will be happy to help you.
Today and every day: thank You, Jesus, and thank you, dear ZENIT Family.
